SUMMER VIBES

1d

Today I’m going to start off with a brief note of encouragement. Let me persuade you to take a break and have a fulfilling weekend I’m sure we all deserve.

I don’t know about you, but it always seems to me there’s plenty of time to enjoy my days off and probably that’s the reason I postpone or let go some dreams and desires. This summer there is also a list of things I haven’t done ( despite having planned), which includes going on a bike ride and to a festival. Although these are ordinary things, they still can make the days count. And the truth is, most of us have “failed” plans like that.

So this morning I woke up feeling enthusiastic and ready to do as much as possible to avoid late summer regretsThis intense spirit of passion and impatience has also extended into fashion, inducing me to foster creativity and create this sophisticated look.

Inspired by the 70s decade, I was wearing a green skirt with pockets, which is perfectly tailored and adorable. I completed the look with a colorful necklace and a silk headband and slipped on a pair of wooden wedge sandals.

Whatever your plans are this weekend, from playing badminton to organizing a picnic, these style ideas may be useful in every scenario.

Enjoy your weekend!

RED

r7

Believe it or not, this is the first time I’ve got red lipstick on. From scarlet to dark red, when it comes to make up, nothing can rival the power of „ red lips”, they make a statement, stamping you as bold or fearless.

So what’s so special about it?

In my mind, red is associated with energy, determination, danger, anger, blood as well as passion, desire, love and all the insane, intense emotions. Love, frustration, jealousy, confusion – for me any of these feelings has a red tint. What does red lipstick say to you?

The main reason I dared to make this look is the idea of trying new and unfamiliar things, taking risks and experimenting. Changes ( even when talking about lipsticks or styles) enrich our life and inspire others.

Whether you are working up the courage to climb a mountain, change your hairstyle or ask someone out, take a chance!

At the end of the day it’s always worth trying.

POLKA DOT

gr1

Back in preschool every girl had a perfect polka dot dress, I remember having a red one and it was quite similar to what other girls were wearing at the time.

Fortunately, now polka dot outfits are well-designed and versatile. Most importanly, we’ve got a chance to mess up traditional patterns. Huge, colourful, wonky, rigidly spaced, polka dots catch our eye and itrigue.

I don’t think there is ever a wrong time for a polka dot”, – Marc Jacobs has said and I completely agree with him.

Last but not least, I’ve noticed every outfit affects our self-image, emotions and feelings. Take a silk gown for example, wearing it makes you flirtatious and romantic, a formal suit determines moderation and restraint, and polka dots are responsible for natural and unaffected behavior. I may a bit exaggerate, but I believe it to be true.

Therefore the next time you go shopping, I suggest that you think how your purchase makes you feel.

Hope you had a nice weekend, for me it was the busy one, I spent it thinking about new style ideas, overhauling my wardrobe and getting ready for my acquaintance with you guys!

August, known as the season of last minute holidays, fun and festivals comes round quick – and it brings us new inspirations. Thus I think it’s definitely the best time to get the Seventies look everyone is so obsessed with and understand the era of peace, funky clothes, hippie bohemia and funny sitcoms.

The way they change trends and eras in high fashion has always amazed me – especially the fact, that everything seems to be similar to what it was in the last century. However, I’ve changed my perspective lately and it has become an opportunity to get to know something about fashion history and develop my individual style. And if I were to choose once and for all, it would always be the 40s without a doubt.( I hope this secret is safe with you)

Anyway, this summer it’s all about the 70s, languorous chiffons and decadent silks came into our lives. The spirit of Talitha Getty is everywhere, with it’s shimmy chunky necklaces and fringe mules. How do you feel about the change?

Surprisingly, I’m eager to experiment, but certainly still hesitant to go full-on fringe 😉 Despite having an affection for everything new and trendy, I believe everyone should maintain their personal styleFor this reason I’ve “updated” the 70s styling making it more romantic and lovely and I am glad to share it with you.

MIRACLE GARDEN

Welcome to the magical world of flowers!

Someone once said that ” flowers are a proud assertion that a ray of beauty outvalues all the utilities of the world ” I’ve been thinking about it lately and I believe they have got a point 😉

Hope you are also fond of flowers, nature and lace tops 😀
